It's really late now...

...so I will just pop in quickly now. Today I went to a friend's birthday party at a restaurant (Happy 16th 'S') but forgot to take the camera (duh! but the light was pretty awful anyways) and so I took some shots when I got home....after a bout of crying. Mainly because my closest friend at school, 'M', has been lying to a lot of people and excluding me from things on numerous occasions. My real best friend lives in Suffolk and I've known her since she was born but 'M' is a friend all the same. Recently she seems to have changed a lot: I guess I don't fit in with her new life. Maybe you don't think she's a friend worth having but she used to be so nice that I wish she would go back to the old 'M'. I have my mother though, my best friend of all. Happy Mother's Day in advance. :) I loooove you, Mummy.

Ugh, Lulu that really sucks. I hate when people are like that. I had my share of those situations, and either way they've ended up ok. One girl eventually realized she was being stupid, apologized, and is still a good friend today. The other never realized, and she not only lost my friendship but also that of the "new" group. She now doesn't keep in touch with anyone from our school, which is sad. We were really close at one point.

The best part of all of it though is how much I appreciate the friends I have now. Since.. hm.. I'd say about age 19 (I'm 22 now), the people I've been meeting have been more sincere and more interested in true friendship. The friends I have now are amazing, and I value them so much more because I know the hurtful things that can happen.

Hang in there, it will get better!

Now come to my blog and answer my question about your bubble pic ;)

Sorry "M" has chosen to not be nice. That is hard when friends act that way. I am now 31 (gosh where does time go??) and have 5 really good friends from high school. We go on yearly trips and those trips usually consist of us making fun of how we used to treat each other. There were (and still are at time.......afterall, we are girls!!) many hurt feelings, but we have all grown from each other and the experiences of having each other in our lives.

"M" will either apologize or you will realize she isn't the friend for you (which is hard). My parents used to always tell me people come into our lives for a reason...maybe "M" is in your life to teach you how NOT to treat others. Of course, it seems you are already a sweetheart!!!

Okay, enough of my old aged rambling...LOL

Great shot of your beautiful mom. Moms are the best, aren't they??

Hugs,
Natalie

Sorry to read about your friend not being a very good one to you. I too well remember those antics from my teen years. Hold your head high and know that you are a good, kinda person deserving of loyal and honest friendS! :)
