I ♥ the postman. :)

My 35mm lens arrived. I decided that if I was going to have to endure so many injections, my dreaded fear, I should at least treat myself. I had some money saved up and found a *great* deal on a 35mm f/2 ... so it's here! First impressions? :) Hmmm, wider than expected, sharp, rather noisy focus and rubbish build but I like it! :P Here's just my VERY first shots that I pulled off the card. I will share more interesting and technically correct later when I get some more time to play. I was just chilling, eating my macaroni cheese and cucumber, and reading my Physics notes when I heard the knock on the door. I couldn't thank the postman enough! :D Oh, and I looooove the close focusin distance!
Mostly @ f/2-2.8, 1/800-1/1000 and all at 100 ISO. Lovin' the bokeh on this little lens. :D Plus it is s-h-a-r-p...that second one is SOOTC at f/2. :)

Fed up of hyacinths? I am, was just testing the focus!!

See, told ya they were boring! off to cycle to my grandparents' house. I'll take the camera and shoot something more interesting! :0) ~ Lulu

Woohooo! Congrats, Lulu! That's awesome, and the photos look great. I think you'll love it. I even like the first one ;)

(I still think you should have gotten the 30 though! lol. Joking. I very nearly got the 35 too and I'm sure it's just as great.)

Hey, chin up! You're doing great as usual.

I love the little commentary of the lens. I have finally saved up enough to buy my first D-SLR (probably a XTi) and I think I'm going with the 35mm and the 50mm. So, thanks. I really like 2.

Thanks for inspiring me to get into photography as well. You are my inspiration.

Oh ladies, you are TOO good to me!
I guess the first one isn't too bad.

Jennifer, thanks! It is sharp, I LOVE it!

Ellen, aww, thanks girlfriend! :) I like it too now, just looked funky on my laptop! I would have loved the 1.4 of the 30 but am glad I chose the 35 because it's just wide enough!

Jenna, thanks! :) You do know how to make a girl feel good!

Hey Hannah - too sweet! You are too good to me!

Sarah, yay for you! I am SO happy for you girl! The 400D sounds like a great choice...and the 35 and 50 are great lens. Are you getting the 50mm 1.8 or 1.4?

Thanks 'anonymous'!

Cool! I am still trying to decide between the 35, 30, and 85. I LOVE the close-up hyacinth shot. I'm glad your dentist appointment went well for you!

Woot woot! Awesome, Lulu! I LOVE new lenses! :-) You'll have to tell me whether you love this lens or not after you've played with it a while. I'm considering selling my Sigma 30 1.4 & getting this one. Let me know what you think, okay?
